Gronkowski leaves game vs. Saints with groin injury

New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints after suffering a groin injury, the team announced.

Gronkowski was surrounded by trainers on the sideline before going into the medical tent. He exited it shortly after but didn't return to the game, though the Patriots were up by a comfortable margin with time ticking away in the fourth quarter.

The pass-catcher was in the midst of a monster game after a relatively quiet Week 1, hauling in six passes for 116 yards and one touchdown.
