Gronkowski says Brady attends special teams meetings, takes notes
If you're an NFL player hoping to out-work Tom Brady, you better step up your game.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski recently revealed just how far the future Hall of Famer goes in his preparation.
"I'll give you a legendary story; this happened the first day of camp. He was in the special teams meeting and he isn't on special teams, paying full attention writing notes down," Gronkowski told Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. "There you go. That just shows how hard the guy works. He's in on special teams meetings, too."
While Brady's dedication to the craft is admirable, Patriots special teams meetings hardly seem relevant to his job behind center. Of course, the 40-year-old has made it known he wants to play as long as he can, so perhaps Brady has his eye on a future conversion to kicker to extend his career.
