Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter and general manager Jason Licht provided a glimpse into the less glamorous side of football during Tuesday's airing of HBO's "Hard Knocks."

Over the weekend, the Buccaneers released kicker Roberto Aguayo after a dismal showing in the preseason, following an abysmal rookie campaign last year. Tampa Bay traded its third- and fourth-round selections in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Aguayo in the second round, making its decision to release him even more difficult.

"It's never easy, but it's got to be done," Licht said to Koetter. "It's such a bigger mistake to keep holding onto him. We've got to get behind a guy.”

"I think (Nick) Folk is our fucking kicker," Koetter retorted.

Aguayo was then brought into the meeting and was understandably devastated by the news.

"We just have to rely on you to make those kicks," Licht told Aguayo. "We're all relying on you, 52 other guys."

Aguayo was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
