College football and the NFL will collide in 2020 and 2021 as Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Notre Dame and Wisconsin will play a home-and-home series at Lambeau Field and Soldier Field.
The official announcement will be made on Monday during a press conference at the Under Armour store in Chicago.
The 2020 game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay will act as a home game for the Badgers, while the return leg at Soldier Field in 2021 will be a Notre Dame home affair.
The two storied programs haven't met since 1964, but the Fighting Irish are experienced playing at the home of the Chicago Bears. Notre Dame is 10-0-2 all time at the venue, including a 41-3 win over Miami in its last appearance there in 2012.
Wisconsin has also played at Soldier Field previously, with the last trip in 2011 against Northern Illinois. The Russell Wilson-led Badgers hammered their opponents 49-7.
