Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis was found not guilty Tuesday in his misdemeanor domestic violence trial, the rookie's lawyer confirmed to NFL.com.

The trial stemmed from an alleged physical altercation between Lewis and his girlfriend in Ann Arbor, Mich., in March. At the time, police told NFL.com that they believed Lewis was the aggressor in the incident after conducting two interviews with his girlfriend.

The 21-year-old pleaded not guilty to the original domestic violence charge on March 16.

Lewis, a third-round pick, will now join the Cowboys for training camp after missing the first two days to attend the trial.
