What's Trumaine Johnson implying with his emoji-only tweet?

A report surfaced Tuesday suggesting the Los Angeles Rams will not reach a long-term deal with franchise-tagged cornerback Trumaine Johnson by the July 17 deadline.

Neither the Rams nor Johnson released a statement regarding the report, but Johnson did drop a tweet hours later.

That emoji can be interpreted many ways, and could be completely unrelated to his negotiations with the Rams. But one could also conclude that Johnson is questioning either the veracity of the report, or how the Rams are handling business.

It's been a busy offseason for both sides. After the Rams used their franchise tag on their top corner for a second consecutive year, L.A. was reported to be shopping Johnson. He reportedly turned down a deal with the New Orleans Saints and didn't attend the Rams' voluntary workouts, though he did show up to OTAs in early June.
