Technology has come a long, long way.
As evidenced by a video clip that appears to show the finished product, plans for a halo-shaped video board in the Atlanta Falcons' new home turned out incredibly well.
The LED display is three times larger than any other screen in the NFL, covering a staggering 63,800 square feet below a retractable roof in the soon-to-be-opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Construction on the $1.5-billion facility is nearing completion. The official opening date is set for Aug. 26, when the Falcons host the Arizona Cardinals for a preseason game.
