Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman will not be charged in connection to a New Year's Eve attack on a 26-year-old man in his Cleveland condo building.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Adam Ferrise of Cleveland.com, Coleman had been named as one of three men involved in the attack on Adam Sapp.

The others, brother Jonathan Coleman and Jared Floyd, were indicted on charges Tuesday.

An argument and fight between Sapp and a group of men broke out in the lobby of Coleman's condo. The group was separated, but Sapp was followed and later attacked from behind.

Sapp told Cleveland.com that he never saw his attackers, nor did he see Coleman hit him.

The injuries suffered during the attack included a concussion and a ruptured ear drum. While unconscious, Sapp was reportedly carried through a parking garage by Jonathan Coleman and Floyd and eventually left there.

Despite avoiding charges, it's unclear whether the NFL is weighing discipline against Coleman for his involvement.

The 22-year-old recorded 33 receptions for 413 yards and three touchdowns across 10 games after landing with the Browns as a first-round pick last April.
