Vikings teammates insist Bridgewater looks 'great'

There is still no timetable for his return, but Minnesota Vikings teammates insist quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has looked impressive at minicamp as he recovers from a devastating knee injury he suffered just before the start of last season.

Bridgewater suffered a dislocated left knee and torn ligaments on a non-contact drill and missed the entire 2016 season because of it.

"I have been around this game for a long time, and I do not think I have ever seen as devastating of an injury as that," tight end Kyle Rudolph said to Ben Goessling of ESPN.

Bridgewater has pushed on, however, to return to a team with Super Bowl aspirations. From what his teammates have seen of him this summer, they're optimistic.

"He looks great - really great," receiver Laquon Treadwell said. "It's like he was never hurt."
