Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas should be back to peak form after fighting through a hip ailment throughout the 2016 season.

Thomas played all 16 games last season through nagging hip pain after drawing contact from Carolina Panthers cornerback James Bradberry during the season opener.

The 29-year-old posted his worst totals since the 2011 season, finishing with 90 receptions for 1,083 yards and five touchdowns. However, Thomas feels like he's back to his normal form.

"This is the best I’ve ever felt in nearly my whole career,” Thomas said Thursday to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post. “That helps. I don’t feel pain running routes on this side or that side. It’s basically equal now, so there’s more joy. I’m having more fun and am not worried about guys covering me on one side or another."

With a healthy Thomas ready to go alongside Emmanuel Sanders, AFC West defensive backs will need to be on high alert.
