Top CB prospect Tabor runs brutal 4.77 40 at pro day

Former Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor might see his draft stock plummet after an awful performance in the 40-yard dash Tuesday at his pro day.

Tabor ran a 4.62 at the combine, so improving upon that number was the main goal of his pro day. Instead, he was clocked in at 4.77 seconds, according to Mark Long of The Associated Press, which would've been the worst mark put up by a defensive back at the combine.

In fact, the fastest offensive lineman, Aviante Collins, ran just four-hundredths of a second slower at the combine than Tabor did at his pro day.

Tabor only allowed two touchdowns in three seasons in college, according to Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson, but his abysmal 40 might cause teams to believe he doesn't have the speed to survive at the NFL level.
