After hosting him on a free-agent visit Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers have re-signed running back Christine Michael, a source told ESPN's Field Yates.

Michael confirmed the report via Instagram on Wednesday afternoon.

The 26-year-old spent six games with the Packers last season after starting the year as a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Michael had 31 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown with Green Bay last year. He will likely be slotted behind Ty Montgomery on the depth chart.

Along with Michael, free-agent offensive tackle Byron Bell reportedly visited the Packers on Wednesday.
