Malcolm Butler's representatives are contacting teams around the league in an attempt to find someone willing to give the New England Patriots a first-round pick for the cornerback, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports.

Butler is a restricted free agent, and the Patriots placed a first-round tender on him this week, so that would be the price for any team looking to acquire him.

The Patriots are reportedly willing to part with Butler for a first-round pick, and the cornerback is telling teams he wants a deal similar to the one New England gave Stephon Gilmore (five years, $65 million), La Canfora adds.

Butler has yet to sign the tender, and La Canfora notes that it's common for unsigned restricted free agents to test what their market would be.
