The Indianapolis Colts requested an interview with Kansas City Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard for their general manager vacancy, sources told USA Today's Tom Pelissero.

Indianapolis will also interview its current vice president of football operations, Jimmy Raye III. The club has reportedly also requested interviews with Seattle Seahawks co-directors of player personnel Trent Kirchner and Scott Fitterer, as well as Minnesota Vikings assistant general manager George Paton.

The Colts also requested an interview with Green Bay Packers director of football operations Eliot Wolf, according to Pelissero. Wolf recently signed an extension with the Packers after withdrawing from the San Francisco 49ers' general manager search, so it remains unclear whether he'll accept an interview with the Colts.

Indianapolis fired Ryan Grigson on Jan. 21. He served as the team's general manager from 2012-16.

Colts owner Jim Irsay said Chuck Pagano will remain the team's head coach for the 2017 season.
