Emmitt Smith thanks Prescott for flowers after mother's death
Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith thanked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in a touching video Monday for sending flowers after his mother died in November.
The 47-year-old attended Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and thanked Prescott for his kind gesture, while wishing him and Ezekiel Elliott further success this season.
Good luck to my @dallascowboys... Stay healthy and go get your ring! #CowboysNation pic.twitter.com/aoH3Y1KThI

"It was great going to the Cowboy game tonight to see them against the Bucs. It was even more awesome to watch Zeke do it in person. And Dak Prescott," Smith said. "And Dak, I just want to say thank you, man. You sent flowers to me and my family during our time of need with the loss of my mother. Just shows what kind of character you have.
"I'm so proud of the Dallas Cowboys right now. These boys are on their way to try to accomplish one of these three things that you see behind me right now. So I wish them the best of luck. Much love for Dak, much love for Zeke and definitely much love for my Dallas Cowboys. Good luck guys, stay healthy and go get your ring."
Though Prescott is a rookie, he's acting like anything but on and off the field.
