Analysis:

Newton was always expected to suit up Monday, despite having his practice involvement managed recently to nurse a shoulder issue. The Panthers signal-caller didn't throw prior to Friday's practice session, but there's nothing to suggest Newton will be limited in what he's asked to do versus Washington's 13th-ranked defense. That being said, after a season-low 10 completions and 160 passing yards last weekend, it'll be interesting to see if Newton's shoulder impacts his Week 15 production.
