Ravens release Devin Hester

The Baltimore Ravens announced the release of wide receiver and special teams ace Devin Hester on Tuesday.
A potential Hall of Famer due to his record 19 career return touchdowns, Hester has struggled to field kicks throughout the season, and his decision not to catch a punt led to a safety during Monday's loss to the New England Patriots.
Hester could catch on with another team desperate for a return man, but it's likely his career could be done after 11 seasons.
Wide receiver Michael Campanaro will be promoted from practice squad and become the Ravens' new returner.
