Julio Jones a game-time decision vs. Rams
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Dan Quinn announced Friday.
Jones missed the first two practices of the week with a toe injury suffered in last Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Quinn expressed optimism that Jones would be able to play after returning for Friday's team session, but added that the coaching staff would need to see him run routes at full speed before giving him the green light.
Even on a limited snap count, Jones' mere presence in the lineup would draw the attention of the secondary and open things up for the rest of the offense.
There's also a realistic possibility that he could play through the ailment and continue to dominate, as he's done so often during an incredible career thus far.
The three-time Pro Bowler enters Week 14 action with 72 catches for a league-high 1,253 yards and five touchdowns.
