Falcons' Mohamed Sanu: Could practice Thursday
Sanu, who injured his groin Sunday against the Chiefs, could practice Thursday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Analysis:
Sanu finished with two catches for 26 yards in Sunday's contest, and although he joined teammate Julio Jones (toe) in surfacing with an injury, his ailment might not cause him to miss any game action. Coach Dan Quinn already said Sanu won't practice Wednesday, but he could be out there the following day. While that would obviously bode well for the Falcons' pass-catching options, Sanu's involvement in practice over the entirety of this week will still need to be monitored before shaping expectations of him for this Sunday's game versus the Rams.
