Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian has shed his walking boot as he makes progress towards returning to action.

The team's starting quarterback missed Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a foot sprain that required the boot. He was declared day to day with the injury.

On Monday, head coach Gary Kubiak said Siemian is doing better but hasn't been installed as the team's starter for next week's game against the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple reports.

Rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch drew his second career start in the 20-10 win over the Jaguars, but he completed just 12 passes for 104 yards.
