Colts' Andrew Luck: In concussion protocol, but nears clearance
At this stage, Luck (concussion) remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.
Analysis:
However, as per coach Chuck Pagano, if Luck is cleared by an independent neurologist after practice, the QB will be a go for Monday's game against the Jets. In the absence of any setbacks, we'd expect Luck to gain clearance in the next couple days, paving the way for him to return to action after giving way to Scott Tolzien in this past Thursday's 28-7 loss to the Steelers.
