Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas delivered a devastating hit on Rob Gronkowski during Sunday night's game, with the tight end saying it was among the hardest he'd ever taken.
While it's uncertain if that hit directly led to Gronkowski's reported lung injury, Thomas took to Twitter on Tuesday to wish the New England Patriots' star well.
Nothing but respect for Gronk. One of the best I've lined up against. Hoping to see him back on the field sooner than later.

There's been conflicting reports on the exact nature of Gronkowski's injury, but he's not expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time.
