Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Evan Smith will miss up to three weeks with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Smith was starting in place of the injured Joe Hawley, leaving Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears in the first half.
The Bucs will likely turn to Ben Gottschalk who replaced Smith on Sunday, but second-year guard Ali Marpet also has some experience at center.
