After injuring his knee during Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald will undergo an MRI on Monday, the player told Kent Somers of AZCentral Sports.

Fitzgerald suffered the injury in the first half, but returned to the game and played through the issue, racking up a game-high 12 catches and 133 receiving yards. He also surpassed Terrell Owens to move into sixth on the all-time receptions list during the 23-20 win.

Somers speculates that Fitzgerald suffered an MCL sprain, which the veteran has dealt with before.
