The Atlanta Falcons signed running back Stevan Ridley and released linebacker A.J. Hawk, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ridley is best known for his stint with the New England Patriots (2011-14), and was part of the Super Bowl XLIX-winning roster.

Hawk signed with the Falcons on Oct. 4 and played in one game. The 32-year-old spent the first nine years of his career with the Green Bay Packers before joining the Cincinnati Bengals last season.
