Bengals' Tyler Eifert: Expected to get more work in Week 8
Eifert is expected to get more work in Week 8 against Washington, after only playing third-down and red-zone snaps in Sunday's win over the Browns, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.
Analysis:
Eifert logged 15 snaps and two targets in his first appearance of the season, catching one pass for a nine-yard gain. He said his back and surgically repaired ankle both felt fine during and after the game -- potentially setting him up for something closer to his pre-injury role in Week 8. The Bengals are traveling to London to face a Washington team that has limited opposing tight ends to just one touchdown and 6.4 yards per target this season.
