49ers' Lynch: 'We possibly have one of the best teams in the NFL'
The San Francisco 49ers were dropped 34-17 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, and have lost six straight since opening the season with a win.
Despite sharing the league's second-worst record, some 49ers players are dreaming big - very big.
"We possibly have one of the best teams in the NFL, hands down," linebacker Aaron Lynch said after the latest loss, according to Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News. "We need to know how to finish games. Once we get that down, nobody is going to mess with us."
"I told one guy on the bench that two, three, four years from now, they might win the Super Bowl," added fellow linebacker Ahmad Brooks. "That's just how it is."
Just a reminder that the 49ers surrendered 513 total yards on Sunday and will have to wait until at least November to get their first win since Sept. 12.
