Marshall: 'We need Antonio Brown twerking in the end zone'
Brandon Marshall believes it's time to end the NFL's "No Fun League" era, showing support for his recently criticized fellow pass-catchers on Wednesday.
"We need Antonio Brown twerking in the end zone," the New York Jets receiver told reporters, adding, "I guarantee if I score, I'm twerking in the end zone."
Brown has received multiple excessive celebration penalties this season for his entertaining end-zone dances, while Marshall's fellow New York City receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., has been criticized for his emotional play by many, including his own teammates. The Jets wideout strongly disapproves.
"(The Giants) don't need to be speaking out on their teammate. They need to keep that in house, because they could lose him," Marshall said of Beckham.
"He's not a selfish guy ..." he added. "He just wants to win."
