Chargers' Travis Benjamin: Held in check versus Saints

Benjamin caught four of seven targets for just 48 yards in Sunday's 35-34 loss to the Saints.

Analysis:

Benjamin failed to generate the type of big plays that have become expected from him, as his longest gain went for 25 yards. He equaled a season high in targets, but he finished in a three-way tie for third on the team as Philip Rivers spread the ball around. While he remains involved, Benjamin seemingly will not be blanketed with targets on a weekly basis due to the other options around him, and he will need to break off a big gain or two per week to generate significant fantasy value. He will look to do just that in Week 5 against the Raiders.
