Prater (undisclosed) was waived by the Saints on Tuesday, Herbie Teope of NOLA.com reports.

Analysis:

Prater landed on IR due to an undisclosed injury early in August. He'll now look to land on another roster, although it won't likely happen until he is fully healthy.
