San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will not play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts due to a hamstring injury.
The 36-year-old was never likely to play, having been listed as doubtful this week while missing all team practices.
With Gates sidelined, rookie tight end Hunter Henry could see an expanded role.
