Browns' Corey Coleman: Won't require surgery on fractured hand
Coleman will not require surgery on his fractured hand but is slated to miss 4-to-6 weeks.
Analysis:
It was confirmed Wednesday that Coleman suffered a fractured hand during practice, but the real question at the time was the duration of his absence. After seeing a hand specialist, the team determined that surgery during the season is off the table, and the rookie wideout is now on track to miss roughly a month. Already down two quarterbacks, Coleman's absence will cost the Browns their leading pass catcher through the season's first two weeks, setting up Terrelle Pryor and Andrew Hawkins for extra targets.
