Broncos' Demaryius Thomas: No second opinion received
Thomas (hip) has not received a second opinion on his hip and is instead approaching matters day by day, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Analysis:
Thomas underwent an MRI on his hip following last Thursday's season-opening win, and although it was initially thought that he'd receive a further consultation, that apparently has not happened. Speaking on Thomas' situation Monday, coach Gary Kubiak said the wideout's hip is "doing pretty good," and he's expected to practice in some capacity Wednesday. Those comments, along with Thomas not getting a second opinion, seems to mitigate concern over his hip, but his practice involvement as the week unfolds should ultimately best clarify whether he'll suit up Sunday against the Colts.
