Browns' Robert Griffin: Could miss significant time
Griffin is expected to be sidelined for a significant amount of time after spraining his left shoulder during Sunday's season-opening loss, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
Analysis:
Griffin underwent an MRI on his injured, non-throwing shoulder Monday and was revealed to have suffered potentially serious damage. As a result, it's likely that Griffin will be ruled out for some time looking ahead, although a definitive timetable has yet to surface. With that being the expectation, backup Josh McCown appears destined to reclaim the Browns' starting quarterback job.
