Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Fails to throw a TD pass in first game
Prescott completed 25 of 45 pass attempts for 227 yards without a touchdown in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Giants. He didn't turn the ball over, and finished with 12 rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis:
Prescott seemed to have a touchdown pass to Dez Bryant in the second quarter, but the play was overturned, as Bryant bobbled the ball at bit while in the back of the end zone. While fantasy owners are surely disappointed by Prescott's final stat line, he showed poise and made some nice throws, primarily using Jason Witten and Cole Beasley. The rookie QB actually had the Cowboys in a position to potentially kick the game-winning field goal in the closing seconds, but Terrance Williams failed to get out of bounds on the Giants' side of the field. Next week, he'll face another divisional foe in Washington.
