Chargers' Travis Benjamin: Snags seven passes in Chargers debut
Benjamin hauled in seven of eight targets for 32 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis:
Benjamin led the Chargers in targets on Sunday and might end up being their de facto top receiver should fears that Keenan Allen tore his ACL prove true. If he wants to be effective in that role, however, he'll have to reassert himself as a deep threat. Benjamin averaged 15.3 yards per catch through Week 12 of last season, an average that would have ranked in the top 20 in the league had he maintained it. In his last six contests, however, Benjamin's average is down to 8.2 yards per catch.
