Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls will miss "a few weeks" due to an injured fibula, head coach Pete Carroll confirmed Monday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, he suffered a hairline fracture.
Rawls was held out of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, but was expected to rejoin the team shortly. The 23-year-old, who suffered the injury during a Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, rushed for a paltry 25 yards on 19 carries this season.
Christine Michael will serve as the team's feature back.
Fantasy Fallout: Uncertainty with Rawls creates even more opportunity for Michael
Rawls suffered a fractured ankle last December, ending his rookie year.
