The New York Giants have waived running back Andre Williams, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
The third-year pro sat behind Rashad Jennings and Shane Vereen on the Giants' depth chart.
He had an uninspiring preseason, rushing nine times for 37 yards and catching four passes for 24 yards.
The 24-year-old was second on the team in rushing last season, with 257 yards and one touchdown.
