The Minnesota Vikings are set to waive Moritz Boehringer, the German receiver whom they selected in the sixth round of this year's draft, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Boehringer is reportedly a strong candidate for the Vikings' practice squad.
The 22-year-old was the first player drafted to the NFL straight from Europe.
Due to his raw skill set and lack of experience playing football, he'd likely benefit from a season on the practice squad.
