Falcons' Julio Jones: Expects to play Week 1
Jones (ankle) hasn't practiced since injuring his ankle in the third preseason game, but he expects to be ready for the Falcons' Week 1 matchup with Tampa Bay, Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports.
Analysis:
Jones saw his first work since the injury Thursday, working out with quarterback Matt Ryan before sitting out the contest itself. Coach Dan Quinn said that the star receiver will be close to practicing in full by Monday in advance of the season opener.
