New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will play in Friday's preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, according to Tom Curran of CSNNE.com.
Brady was expected to make his preseason debut Aug. 18 against the Chicago Bears, but cut his thumb prior to the game.
It hasn't been determined whether Brady or Jimmy Garoppolo will start Friday. Brady will serve a four-game suspension to begin the season and Garoppolo will start in his absence.
