As the Oakland Raiders' pursuit of Las Vegas continues, detailed proposals for the most important issue at hand are beginning to take shape.
Updates for a proposed stadium development were on the agenda at Thursday's meeting of the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee.
Renderings for the stadium were shared by ESPN's Arash Markazi:
The official cost breakdown was also provided at the meeting and estimates the project to cost $1.9 billion, confirming previous reports. The most recent proposal has the Raiders contributing $500 million, public contributions accounting for $750 million, and another $650 million coming from private funds.
Getting the $750 million in public money approved is, of course, the most significant step in the process for the Raiders. A recommendation from the SNTIC should come at some point in the near future, and potentially as early as Thursday.
