Titans' Kendall Wright: Unlikely to play in third preseason game
Head coach Mike Mularkey said Wright (hamstring) is doubtful for Saturday's preseason game against the Raiders, Titans Online reports.
Analysis:
Wright had been targeting Saturday's game for his first appearance of the preseason, and while that isn't expected to come to fruition, head coach Mike Mularkey did say that he hopes to have the fifth-year wideout back at practice Wednesday. If he does return to practice this week, Wright could make a brief appearance in the final preseason game as a tune-up for Week 1. He's seemingly locked in as the slot receiver in three-wide sets, but it's unclear how much playing time he'll get in two-wide formations, as Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe are expected to start on the outside.
