Rams' Bradley Marquez: Suffers ankle injury
Marquez suffered an unspecified injury to his right ankle during Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs, ESPN reports.
Analysis:
Marquez went down after catching a screen pass in the second half and needed help getting off the field. Then, after the game, the Texas Tech product was witnessed sporting a walking boot on his right foot, but will reportedly need further testing to determine the exact nature of the injury. At first blush, it appears Marquez could miss significant time, but, to date, the specifics of his injury remain clouded and no timetable has been provided for his return. Brian Quick and Mike Thomas stand to see added opportunity in Marquez's absence.
