Browns' Corey Coleman: Will miss preseason opener

Coleman (hamstring) has been ruled out of Friday's preseason opener versus the Packers, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Coach Hue Jackson wouldn't rule Coleman out earlier in the week, but after the wideout was unable to practice on Wednesday, the team elected to proceed with caution. Coleman isn't expected to be out for an extended period of time, so look for him to return to practice early next week. Coleman was listed as a starter on the Browns' first unofficial depth chart, so the rookie would like to get healthy in order to receive plenty of live game reps prior to the regular season.
