Ravens' Joe Flacco: Ready for training camp

Flacco (knee) plans to participate in practice when the Ravens begin training camp on July 28, ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley reports.

Analysis:

Flacco has stated numerous times that he intends on being in action when training camp starts, reassuring fantasy owners of his progress since suffering a torn ACL last November. The quarterback is already able to sprint and make cuts, so taking the field with his teammates later this month would represent the next step in his return. At this point, it seems likely that Flacco will be ready to roll once Week 1 kicks off, but it should still be worthwhile to monitor his involvement and performance level throughout the preseason.
