Titans' Dexter McCluster: Roster spot safe

Titans coach Mike Mularkey indicated Friday that McCluster's roster spot is safe despite the offseason additions of DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry at the running back position, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.

Analysis:

McCluster's receiving ability and elusiveness out of the backfield differentiate him from more traditional options like David Cobb or Antonio Andrews. While Murray and Henry will likely get the lion's share of touches, the diminutive running back should still see the field in a change-of-pace role similar to the one he played in 2015.
