The Seattle Seahawks have selected running back Zac Brooks out of Clemson in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 247th overall.

As Thomas Rawls continues to work his way back from a 2015 season-ending injury, the Seahawks are clearly focused on solidifying the offensive backfield around him.

Brooks joins third-rounder C.J. Prosise and fifth-rounder Alex Collins in becoming the third running back to land in Seattle on draft weekend.

Despite a lack of college production, the Seahawks are evidently one of many teams that took notice of Brooks after his Pro Day in March. His athleticism was on full display while ripping off an impressive 4.32-second time in the 40-yard dash.
