Following a trade with the Washington Redskins, the New Orleans Saints have traded up to select defensive lineman David Onyemata out of Manitoba in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In order to acquire the 120th overall pick and draft Onyemata, the Saints gave up the 152nd overall pick and a 2017 fifth-round selection.

The Nigerian native dominated the Canadian University ranks in his final collegiate season, finishing with 38.5 tackles and five sacks.

He certainly represents somewhat of a project for the Saints defense that badly needs a playmaker up front. If he can reach his potential talent, this could be a fourth-round steal for New Orleans.
