As the all-time leading rusher in NFL history, Emmitt Smith is certainly an authority when it comes to running backs, and consider him a fan of the newest Dallas Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott.

The Cowboys took Elliott with the fourth pick in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday, and Smith didn't need many words to shower praise on the Ohio State star.

With a dominant offensive line, a star quarterback in Tony Romo, and a stud receiver in Dez Bryant, the Cowboys are certainly beginning to resemble the team that won three Super Bowls in four years during the mid-1990s.

If Elliott can perform anywhere close to the level Smith did during that run, the Cowboys have hit a home run with their pick.
